Authentic Hunan Dishes at A Bite of Hunan!

The Eight Great Traditions of Chinese are compromised of Cantonese, Sinchuan, Shandong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Hunan. "Hoo-nan" is a mountainous region from the south of China. Hunan cuisine is well-known for its hot and spicy flavors, fresh aroma and deep colors.

China had always been on my to-go list specifically Beijing and Shanghai, I didn't know that China has a lot of offers when it comes to food. While I'm still saving up for that China trip and waiting for seat sale (ehem! CebuPac, AirAsia :P), I'm glad that more and more Chinese dishes are now being available here in Manila.

Now, let's explore Hunan! Located on the second floor of W Global Center along 9th Ave in BGC. The place is very spacious with floor-ceiling glass walls and an overlooking of the streets down below.

When I entered Hunan, I was amazed at how grand the décor and furnishings are and I've noticed that most of the customers are mostly Chinese. It's like an upscale Chinese restaurant.
