Honolulu Café's started in 1940 when it opened its first store in Hong Kong that serves egg tart, coffee, milk tea, buns and mouthwatering comfort dishes. They're regarded as the first and original Hong Kong café dining concept, it had been a must that every traveler would visit the cafe for a gastronomic experience.
Fast forward to present, Honolulu HK Cafe has already opened 2 branches here in the Philippines: SM Aura Premier Taguig and Robinsons Place Manila. It's not just the usual bakery and casual dining joint as they have a wide range of menu items, the café brought its long history of color and flavor to the dining landscape here in the Metro.
Honolulu HK Café has everything from seafood, to noodles, buns and curries. Lucky enough as I got to indulge in some of Honolulu HK Cafe's crowd favorites. Big thanks to my foodie friend, Chizbun!

Stirred Fried Hong Kong Style Noodle with Pork Chop in XO Sauce (PHP268) |
The stirred fried variety is a must try! The pork is chewy and very tasty, I personally like the texture of the noodles on every bite.

Hong Kong Currey in Casserole - Beef Brisket (PHP328) |
This savory viand has the right balance of spices with a super tender beef. It was a bit spicy, but just the way I like it. Its perfectly paired with rice.

Yang Chow Fried Rice (PHP238) |
I'm a big fan of fried rice, so this is superb! The serving is big too, we even have leftovers as we're only 2.

Bo Lo BBQ Pork Bun (PHP60) |
Indeed a mouthwatering buttery goodness! It was a bit same with Tim Ho Wan's Pork Bun, but I like Honolulu HK Cafe's version more.
