Southern Bistro Grind - More than just RIBS!

Established in early 2017, Southern Grind Bistro is a Chef Owned, Southern American Inspired restaurant. They specialize in Classic Southern Hits like their famous signature, the 6-hour Hickory Smoked St. Louis Cut Premium Pork Ribs, which is a new player and an instant hit on the Filipino Tastebuds.

Owned by Antonio Carmelo Tallon or Some of his friends call him “Ton” who studied at De La Salle College of St. Benilde and Professional culinary, baking and pastry arts at Global Culinary and Hospitality Academy and a Former Chef at JW Marriot Hotel Macau and Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, Florida. They started from a Food Park Setup to a full scale restaurant.

The place is spacious and they even have a second floor, which can occupy 40 to 60 pax as its intended for parties, get-together or such celebrations.

With a diverse menu, they stick to their slogan “MORE THAN JUST RIBS” because they don’t only focus on the main game, but also on the supporting acts. Southern Grind Bistro is also known for their Mouthwatering Jambalayas, their famous Country Fried Steaks, Po boy Sandwiches, Mac and cheese and more.

Quarter Smoked USDA Pork Spareribs
A Southern Frind's famous signature premium cut Spareribs, smoked for 6 hours in a bistro box with gourmet wood blend of cherry, mesquite and hickory, served with sweet homemade BBQ sauce and choice of sides.
Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya
New Orleans style jambalaya, a rice based dish made in one pot, with smoked sausages, a choice of seafood or chicken and mixed with Cajun based sauce.

I can say that I did enjoy the food. I love ribs and I love chicken wings. The only thing I can say is that they should include a dip with their chicken wings and ribs as even though it's already tasty, I think it's still best partnered with a dip.
